Stumps ground out, not left to rot
A stump left in the yard sinks, sprouts, and feeds every carpenter ant in the neighborhood. Grinding it ends that.
We grind several inches below grade so the ground is level enough to mow over and deep enough to plant grass. If you want to put another tree in the same spot, tell us and we go deeper and pull more of the root plate.
You choose what happens to the grindings. We can haul them off, or backfill the hole with them and rake it out. Backfilling is free and settles over a few months; hauling costs a little more and leaves you a clean, level patch right away.
Grinding is quoted as its own line item, so it never gets buried inside a removal price. You see exactly what the stump costs and you can say no.
- Ground below grade, not shaved flush
- Chips hauled off or backfilled and raked
- Surface roots chased back where access allows
- Priced separately from removal, always
