Tree removal done without a scratch
Some trees have to come out. We take them out in pieces when there's no room, and on the ground in one shot when there is.
A removal is a rigging problem before it is a cutting problem. We walk the site first and figure out where every piece lands, what the drop zone will hold, and whether the truck can get close enough to load. Only then do we put a saw in the tree.
Tight lots get roped down limb by limb and lowered on a friction device so nothing lands hard. Open ground gets a hinge cut and a directional fall, which is faster and costs you less. When a tree is over a roof with no room on either side, we bring a crane and pick the wood out over the house.
Everything leaves with us unless you ask us to leave the rounds for firewood. Limbs get chipped, the trunk gets bucked and loaded, and we rake the yard before the trucks pull out.
